TOBE – Technical Outerwear Engineered for the Harshest Mountain Conditions
When winter hits hard, TOBE keeps you riding. Built in the Scandinavian backcountry and trusted by mountain riders worldwide, TOBE (pronounced “Toe-Bee”) creates bombproof outerwear designed for deep snow, brutal winds, and the kind of conditions only true backcountry riders face.
At West Coast Sledders, we carry TOBE because it delivers what the mountains demand: unmatched waterproofing, unbeatable durability, and mobility that never quits. From legendary TOBE mono suits to technical jackets, bibs, and boots, every piece is built for serious sledders who spend their winter in the trees, on the sidehills, and deep in the alpine.
TOBE’s outerwear is designed to handle brutal days in the backcountry. Whether you're navigating tight trees, climbing steep chutes, or sending lines in bottomless powder, TOBE keeps you warm, dry, and ready for the next drop.

TOBE Outerwear FAQ
What makes TOBE outerwear different from other snowmobile gear?
TOBE focuses on true backcountry performance. Their gear uses premium Sympatex® membranes, ultra-durable face fabrics, and rider-driven designs built specifically for mountain snowmobiling. The result is outerwear that stays waterproof, breathable, and tough season after season.
Is TOBE outerwear really waterproof?
Yes. TOBE uses the Sympatex® membrane, which is 100% waterproof and 100% windproof while still being highly breathable. When paired with proper layering, it keeps you dry from both snow and sweat during long days in deep snow.
Should I choose an insulated or uninsulated TOBE mono suit?
If you tend to run cold or ride in extremely low temperatures, an insulated mono suit is a great choice. If you ride aggressively, climb a lot, or prefer to control warmth with base and mid layers, an uninsulated shell mono suit gives you maximum versatility and breathability.
How should TOBE gear fit for snowmobiling?
TOBE is designed with a slightly relaxed, athletic fit to allow room for layering and full movement on the sled. You should have enough space for thermal layers without feeling bulky or restricted. If you’re between sizes, many riders size up for extra layering room. Contact West Coast Sledders if you need help choosing the right size.
How do I care for and wash my TOBE outerwear?
Always follow the care label inside the garment. In general, use a technical detergent designed for waterproof/breathable fabrics, avoid fabric softeners, and tumble dry on low to help reactivate the DWR (water-repellent) finish. Proper care helps your gear stay waterproof and breathable longer.
Do you ship TOBE products across Canada and to the U.S.?
