What is Superclamp and why do I need it?
Superclamp is a premium snowmobile tie-down and transport system designed to secure your sled quickly and safely on a sled deck, trailer, or in an enclosed hauler. Compared to traditional straps, it’s faster to use, provides a more secure hold, and reduces the risk of damage to your sled, deck, or tunnel.
Will Superclamp work with my sled deck or trailer?
In most cases, yes. Superclamp products are designed to work with a wide range of sled decks, trailers, and enclosed units using compatible track systems such as Supertrac or properly positioned deck anchors. If you’re unsure about fitment, contact West Coast Sledders and we can help you choose the right setup for your deck or trailer.
Is Superclamp compatible with all snowmobile brands?
Superclamp is designed to work with most modern snowmobiles from brands like Ski-Doo, Polaris, Arctic Cat, and Yamaha. As long as your sled has a compatible ski and tunnel design, Superclamp Front and Rear will secure it properly. If you have a unique or older setup, reach out and we can help confirm compatibility.
Do I need both Superclamp Front and Superclamp Rear?
For the most secure transport, we strongly recommend using both Superclamp Front and Superclamp Rear. The front clamp locks your skis to the deck, while the rear system secures the rear of the sled and helps prevent fore-and-aft movement during transport.
Can I install Superclamp myself?
Yes. Most riders install Superclamp systems themselves using basic tools. Mounting typically involves installing Supertrac or deck anchors in the correct position, then attaching the Superclamp hardware.
