A quality helmet for a very reasonable price (especially when on sale). Not the lightest helmet I’ve worn but certainly not the heaviest either. Fit is good but 509 helmets fit small, which was the reason for this purchase. I have several helmets, both bike and sled. They are all medium including a 509 Altitude. The 509 was too tight to accommodate any kid of balaclava or other headwear…hence the reason for my most recent purchase. This Altitude 2.0 is a size large and with a thin balaclava the fit is excellent.
