After more than a decade of adventures, West Coast Sledders is being parked for the foreseeable future.
Since 2012, it has been an incredible privilege to be a small part of this community and the countless memories made in the mountains. What started as a passion for mountain riding grew into friendships, experiences, and a community that reached far beyond anything I ever imagined.
I want to sincerely thank every rider, customer, supporter, sponsor, and friend who followed along, shared their adventures, supported the brand, and trusted us to be part of their backcountry journey. Whether it was a product purchase, a message, a social media comment, or simply sharing a day in the mountains, every interaction helped build what West Coast Sledders became.
Mountain sledding remains, in my opinion, one of the greatest outdoor pursuits in the world. We are fortunate to enjoy it in some of the most spectacular terrain and scenery anywhere on the planet. Being able to contribute, even in a small way, to your time in the mountains has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
As the years have gone by, priorities have shifted, and the time has come for me to focus more on myself, my family, and the next chapter ahead. While West Coast Sledders may be stepping aside, my passion for the sport certainly is not. I look forward to getting back to being an enthusiast, exploring the mountains, riding with friends, and enjoying the sport much like all of you.
At the same time, I recognize the value of the community, relationships, and brand that have been built together over the past fourteen years. Rather than simply letting that story end here, West Coast Sledders is currently in transition as I explore opportunities to pass the torch to an individual or organization that shares the same passion for mountain riding and the same appreciation for the community that helped build this brand into what it became.
My hope is that, with the right stewardship, West Coast Sledders can continue to represent the riders, adventures, and mountain culture that inspired it from the very beginning.
